We wish to introduce ourselves as a caring organization in our society to provide immediate shelter, food, education, therapy, medication and other needs for the special children.

The aforementioned is a non-political, non-racial, non-religious and non-profitable organization.
We are rendering services to children who are of down syndrome, autistic cerebral palsy, slow learner, hyper active (A.D.H.D.), physically handicapped, intellectually disabled, dwarfism syndrome, apeth syndrome, deaf & mute, global development delay and under privileged, as their ages range from 3 months to 51 years old and currently we have 144 children.

S.K. Manikumar (President) initiated the Pusat namely Pusat Penjagaan Kanak-Kanak Cacat Taman Megah in April 1997. He is also physically handicapped and has a vision of esteem aims to groom up these children with special needs to be worthwhile citizens of this nation and have devoted himself towards the betterment of the children.

This Pusat being run for a long-term vision to ahead the children's future and facilitates them to be more independent, able to read and write and face reality of life despite their disabilities.

We have employed professional therapists comprising of an occupational/physio therapist who is specialized in physical development such as muscular strength, range of motion, balancing, manipulation skills, independent living skills and cognitive cum mental development. A speech therapist in verbal, vocabulary, socialising, drinking and eating skills. There are also two (2) special tutors who teach the children on reading, writing, identifying number, objects, alphabets and colours. They are also taught on using single words, sentences and mathematics and light jobs are provided as to stimulate their fine and gross motor skills. Then there are seven professionally trained child minders who are to assist the children on feeding, bathing, clothing, and medication and to conduct sanitary training.

Some of our children are being sent to normal school in Kelana Jaya, a special school in Ampang Jaya called C.A.H.P (Centre of Achievement of Human Potentials), Kiwanis Down Syndrome at Jalan Gasing for EIP (Early Intervention Programme), EPL (Early Practical Life), Deaf School in Taman SEA and to a Kindergarten in Taman SEA.

Most of the children admitted without any fee/charges from their parent as they are from low income group and we accept them without hesitation with an aim to provide them rewarding and fulfilling lives in the future and all these can be achieved with the above implementation.

The Pusat generates fund through sales of souvenirs such as key chain holders, road tax stickers, pens, posters, bookmarkers and child educational materials where the income from the sales are utilized towards the upkeep of the Pusat. The Monthly expenses to manage the Pusat are RM32,164.00 (Ringgit Malaysia: Twenty Two Thousand Six Hundred and Fourteen only).
